Single-Nozzle Precision, Less Pesticide

The FJD ATS Ultra is a professional precision spraying system that can control up to 160 nozzles individually. Using pulse width modulation (PWM) and alternating nozzle operation, it keeps pressure and application rate stable during turns or speed changes, greatly reducing overlaps, skips and boundary errors. Synced with prescription maps and ground speed, it cuts chemical waste and boosts efficiency on large-scale farms.

The ATS Ultra goes a step beyond conventional section control by managing every nozzle tip individually. PWM (pulse-width modulation) switches each nozzle on and off 20 times a second to set flow independently of pressure, so pressure and droplet size stay constant as the tractor speeds up or slows down. In turns, nozzles on the inside apply less and those on the outside more (turn compensation), preventing over- and under-application on curves. At the field boundary and over areas already sprayed, nozzles shut off one by one, keeping overlap to a minimum. Prescription maps enable variable-rate application. Individual control of up to 160 nozzle tips gives high precision even on wide booms. The system works with the FJD steering platform and, besides saving chemicals and water, delivers more uniform coverage on the crop. PWM Technology

Flow Control Without Changing Pressure

PWM adjusts the duty cycle of each nozzle's solenoid valve to change the flow rate without changing pressure. High-frequency electromagnetic control gives fast response and high precision, while constant pressure keeps flow consistent.

Turn and Boundary Control

Even Application on Every Square Metre

During turns, inner nozzles overspray and outer nozzles underspray. ATS Ultra uses flow compensation algorithms to adjust each nozzle's duty cycle and remove this difference. At field boundaries nozzles are switched off one by one, giving much cleaner edges than section control and keeping chemicals inside the crop area.
