The FJD APS equips conventional seed drills with electric motor drive and high-precision positioning, automatically adjusting the seeding rate regardless of ground speed. By sensing implement lift and lowering, it stops seed flow instantly at headlands and prevents double seeding. Compatible with any ISOBUS terminal, it turns your existing drill into a centimetre-precision machine, saving seed and time.
On conventional seed drills, the metering shaft is chain-driven from a ground wheel; when the wheel slips on wet ground or slopes the seeding rate drifts, and on headlands and overlapping areas seed is dropped twice in the same place. The APS solves both problems by handing the drive over to an electric motor. Motor speed is matched to tractor speed, so seed per unit area stays constant and rate deviation is held around ±2%. Rows shut off automatically over areas already seeded, which the manufacturer puts at 3–5% seed savings. Infrared seed sensors report blocked tubes and skips instantly, and a lift sensor stops seeding when the drill is raised. ISOBUS compatibility and integration with FJD steering let you manage guidance and seeding rate from a single terminal. Direct Motor Drive, No Wheel Slip
The seed metering shaft is driven directly by an electric motor, greatly reducing errors caused by wheel slip on wet ground or slopes. Matching motor speed to tractor speed keeps the seeding rate per area constant, with actual deviation within ±2%.

The system detects implement raising and lowering: seeding starts when the drill touches the ground and stops instantly when it is lifted. This prevents overlap at headlands and reduces seed waste by 3–5%.
